Bought the laser and I use it for pointing out building defects while photographing them. This allows me to side step photo editing and saves time. the laser has already paid for itself. As for the fun stuff... what a great conversation piece when friends drop by, along with the normal party tricks. I have found many uses for the laser. So i originally bought this thinking it would be a fun toy for my cat. One of my cats could not give two cents for it, and the other is totally terrified. I love the fact that it has a cool kaleidoscope effect which I like to play with...my wife is not amused and says I am like a child. It shines super brightly, and even burns a bit when I shine it on my skin for a long time...which I hope won't give me the cancer. I like that i can recharge it and it charges quickly. Study device and heavy feel to it. Don't look at it and shine it at the same time...it hurts.
