Almost works but I bought it for the mouse function. It moves the whole page around, but it doesn't move the mouse on the page. Even if it did, there is no enter key. I will use it as a presenter since I use powerpoint slides in my classes, but I really wanted the remote mouse function and the presentation function was a benefit. This was designed so that the presentation portion is primary and the mouse function is a figment of somebody's imagination. Haven't tried the media controller. Pointer works fine .... but so does the one I have for my cat, which was a lot cheaper. Don't waste your money. There are presentation controllers with laser for a lot, A LOT, cheaper.
I just want to say that the order process took forever however it was worth the wait.

I just want to say that the order process took forever however it was worth the wait.
My cats go bonanza every time that little red demon dot comes on. Which is why I bought this. It has lasted forever on just one battery and is reliable and easy to use. I don't use the computer functions, although I did test them out. Worked perfectly. I will say the thing got EXTREMELY hot and burned me one time but I think a battery might have been in wonky or something. It's never done it again, thankfully.
The laser lightr can be easily make the match lighted, it also can quickly lit cigarettes and tissue.
When I first turned the laser on I was a little disappointed with the power. I was able to focus the beam to a small point with the provided lens, but it wouldn't even put a hole through a piece of paper. Then I happened to bump the button on the control board and the power of the beam is frightening! This is an awesome laser. 450nm wavelength has several times the energy of infrared. I wish they would provide a schematic diagram of the control board so we could set up an automatic beam control.

Worked Beautifully! I was surprised at the price and was not expecting much. Boy was I wrong! I hooked it to my Bench Power Supply and the laser started and was all I could hope for. I had paid more for less effective. It came with protective glasses... my suggestion... use them for gods sake!
I purchased this laser for my lab use. It is good and I measured the outpout power also. Excellent product.
