Recently, Jinan held the China International Laser Point Industry Summit to discuss how to promote the development and commissioning of laser core technology in Jinan and improve the internationalization level of laser manufacturing Chinese brands.
In 2017, the total sales volume of China's laser equipment market exceeded 44.2 billion yuan, an increase of 14.8% over 2016. At present, China has built nearly 10 laser industrial parks such as Wuhan Optics Valley, Shenzhen Dazu Global Laser Intelligent Manufacturing Base, Wenzhou Laser and Broadcasting Industry Cluster, and Liaoning Anshan Laser Technology Industrial Park. The Jinan High-tech Zone Laser Industry Park, which is being actively established, is expected to become the third pole of China's laser industry.
According to the customs statistics in 2017, more than half of the top 10 enterprises in the country's laser pointer export volume are Jinan enterprises. After continuous development, the laser industry in Jinan has formed a certain industrial chain and a group of enterprises with research and development capabilities from the production of laser generators, optical fibers and power supplies to condensers and oscillators.
At present, although Jinan laser enterprises have many foundations and deep foundations, most of them are still in the low-end of the industrial chain, and the scale is small. Enterprises need to carry out transformation and upgrading, and move toward the high-end of the industrial chain.
According to the plan, in the next 3-5 years, Jinan High-tech Zone will gather more than 200 high-end laser projects to form a sound and complete industrial chain of basic materials, core components, system integration, optoelectronic equipment, and derivative applications, and build a domestic first-class laser industry. R&D, talents and industrial agglomerations will drive the technological transformation and upgrading of relevant high-end intelligent equipment manufacturing industries, boosting the transformation process of new and old kinetic energy in Jinan, and forming a high-end base of tens of billions and national-level laser pointer industry.
