Much brighter than what I expected it to be. But it only worked perfectly for five minutes. Recharged the battery until the light on charger showed green. I don't think supplied batteries are durable. I bought extra two sets of 18650 batteries. Give more feedback later.
Powerful and well built. Fun to use in vacations. The powerful green beam is clearly visible in the daylight and it makes a beautiful line in the night sky. Buy for about 8 months and I've not had the issue with the button, but I handle it with care. At this price range, this pointer is a very good choice for having fun.
When i received it i took it outside to see what it would do. It lit up the low cloud. it is very bright. I did not think it would lite a match but i tried. i set a match 10 feet a way from the laser and it only took 5 sec to lite it off. very nice for pointing out stars and that is what i got it for. but it is fun to play with.
I tested starry patterns of these. All work extremely well, but I'm not certain they will last long. Of the two issues I have, one is slow to illuminate and the other is straight lines illuminate. For a laser, they are great for my astronomy course, but I would be willing to pay slightly more, if this product's manufacturer would improve their length control. so 4 star.
