The versatility of a laser pointer
The laser pointer got soaked (me too). I realize there are many other high quality laser tubes on the market. I've been using these for years with consistent results. It shuts off so much light that it's unnecessary. I know the twist cap is trademarked, but the buttons on the base would be easier to use. Gives enough light that no phone camera flash is needed in very dark conditions. In fact, it's so powerful that it gets really hot, even hot! I question the longevity of the diode heating. I even reckon the high power laser pointer will get so powerful that you can put a drop of water on it and watch it evaporate instantly. I tried two different times, removing the moisture by taking it apart, then putting the parts in bags full of dry rice for over 12 hours each time. Its operation is not sporadic at best. Awareness and acceptance of the versatility of laser pointers continues to grow. Players in the medical device market are innovating in new and unprecedented ways. But the 50mW green laser is powerful and perfect for camping trips, BOBs, or small projects that require two hands in tight spaces around the house.
