Blue lasers are actually the same type of lasers that are used in Blu-ray technology. Although it is rarely prefered to the green and red ones, it could be used for what others do, which also reflects the individual unique aesthetic taste. As far as presentation pointers go, it can be a nice change of pace to use a blue laser pointer, but much more powerful blue lasers are also available. I Bought the 10MW laser from htpow.com about 2 months ago... all i can say is that this laser is extremely Powerful!!! Really fun Laser to play with... But like the spiderman saying \"With great power, comes great responsibility\"... definatly NEED to use caution...If your into Laser Pens, this is a better than PERFECT upgrade... The company is good to deal with as they took care of an issue I had with the original product quite quickly and I appreciate that.The mini laser pen does not have a very long distance you can use it. Only about 4-5 feet to be very effective but it still entertains my kitten.

The beam is very, very tight yet intensely visible in even slightly dim conditions. The build quality it top notch. I use energizer 900ma rechargeable cells in mine and it performs perfectly! I couldn't be happier with my choice. The sales support at Dragon Lasers has been superb! The original unit I received rapidly developed a problem. The online support people on the Dragon Lasers website helped me try and debug the problem and when it was understood to be a defective unit, they were happy to accept my RMA and quickly delivered a new unit to me.
