Blue lasers are actually the same type of lasers that are used in Blu-ray technology. Although it is rarely prefered to the green and red ones, it could be used for what others do, which also reflects the individual unique aesthetic taste. As far as presentation pointers go, it can be a nice change of pace to use a blue laser pointer, but much more powerful blue lasers are also available. However it comes down to all other uses such as pinpointing something on the large screen or on the blackboard.
These are a blast! I got tired of buying lasers that needed special batteries so I decided to try these out since they work with one regular AAA battery, which I always have plenty of available. They are awesome!
They aren't just a laser, but a flashlight too, which has come in handy once or twice. I keep one in my office and one on the couch. In addition to general play time, if she starts scratching on the furniture, I just break out the laser to distract her. Its a slide switch, so no need to hold down a button, and they are big enough that your hand doesn't cramp trying to hold it. The added mouse toy has been fun too, I wake up every morning to it in my bed - I guess she wants to bring me a present? Overall, a great purchase, would highly recommend.
Much better than I expected. Only one drawback - no instructions on the right way to insert the batteries. Here is how to do it. The negative part is inserted down and the positive on the cap end. On mine, the cone shaped spring that should be attached to the cap was loose, which caused the confusion. Just put the cone spring in the cap with the widest part in the cap and the narrow part sticking out to make contact with the positive part of the battery.
A stray cat had two litters of kittens in our yard this year so we have 13 cats (yes, 13) in our backyard. I got my husband an infrared temperature gun for Christmas and it has a laser guide on it. He used it to play with the cats and my kids got obsessed. I got these lasers for the kids to use so they didn't lose or break my husband's tool. They work great! The laser is very bright, and it also has a flashlight mode which they love to use when they play hide-and-seek.
Blue Laser Pointers
Green Laser Pointers
Green laser pointers are now the world's most popular laser pointers, because the green light than red light 6 times more than red light beam significantly, while the price is much cheaper than the blue and yellow, green laser pointer is simply more powerful than red laser pen. Of course, this also means that green lasers are potentially more dangerous than red lasers. When operating this type of laser, it is important not to point it into anyone's eyes or to point it up in the sky towards any airplanes. It is probably not as much preferred lasers as an astronomy laser pointer, because brighter colors would make an object more visible in the sky.
Red Laser Pointers
Red laser pointers are by far the most popular and least expensive type of laser pointer. This is because the wavelength of the red color can be manufactured more easily than that of the other colors in the spectrum, red laser is also the only color that is available in the smallest size of laser pointers. Do remember that red laser light is powerful when it hits a certain object and converges into a point.
