Blue lasers are actually the same type of lasers that are used in Blu-ray technology. Although it is rarely prefered to the green and red ones, it could be used for what others do, which also reflects the individual unique aesthetic taste. As far as presentation pointers go, it can be a nice change of pace to use a blue laser pointer, but much more powerful blue lasers are also available. However it comes down to all other uses such as pinpointing something on the large screen or on the blackboard.

This is a good 50mw laser for disco clubs , it comes with 5 interchangeable caps that you can turn to make the patterns spin and change . The farther away you are when using it the more it fills up the room with the patterns , the cap with the star pattern is the coolest in my opinion . However in the description and pictures it shows it has a beam of light that is visible and I do not see a beam of light that goes out at all , so I don\'t recommend this laser for astronomy or viewing the stars in the sky . it is not that kind of laser. But it is cool for night clubs and classrooms.

I bought this expensive green laser pointer for my 18 years old son as his birthday present.Package arrived in time. Solid and durable structure! Super bright and focused tight green beam light! Thanks for your great product and customer service!
The laser arrived nicely packed and in good condition. There was just one thing, and that was the charger. First of all, it uses an American plug, but can work via a travel adapter on the European power grid. This is I think not stated clearly enough in the description. The dangerous part is that for mine the sticker indicating how the battery should be placed was upside down, and thus I put it in the wrong way. I quickly pulled the plug when I realised the battery was getting suspiciously hot. I measured the battery and charger with my multimeter. That's how I realised the sticker was upside down. It killed my battery and could have killed me, so make sure the positive side of the battery (the one with the knob) is facing the slidable part of the charger.
