Great for astronomy, sends a beam to what planet you want to see. Amazingly bright. I did not try to burn anything because this thing is super bright and from my novice knowledge of lasers you should wear goggles. Not for kitties.
I bought 6 of these lasers in 2016, I gave 4 of them to family and friends and kept 2 for myself. I lost one of them soon after I purchased them and am using the last one of them now!!! I am ordering more of them today so I will have a backup. I highly recommend them, fast service with a smile.
