Blue lasers are actually the same type of lasers that are used in Blu-ray technology. Although it is rarely prefered to the green and red ones, it could be used for what others do, which also reflects the individual unique aesthetic taste. As far as presentation pointers go, it can be a nice change of pace to use a blue laser pointer, but much more powerful blue lasers are also available. However it comes down to all other uses such as pinpointing something on the large screen or on the blackboard.

I just wanted to thank you for your great service. I had chatted with one of your live online support people who kindly answered all of my questions and provided great advice to help me in choosing a laser. I went with the 100-150mW laser, which has now arrived and in perfect condition. This was my first time using a class iiib laser so needless to say its effects are really quite exciting to me; burning holes in dark material without difficulty and shining in the night sky like a saber. Also got some green-filtering goggles to shield my eyes, of course. All in all I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and I'd recommend you to anyone else with an interest in lasers.
I just unboxes this laser and it was the best it can burn matches plastic electrical tape and make black surfaces smoke. very good product for the price!!
Not as described. It is ment to be 3000mw. It barely matches 300mw. Not that bright. The focus ring came loose after a month of owning, so it is now very inaccurate. It cannot burn, but has a nice beam to it at night. I am not very happy with it though.
